The nearby Ubehebe crater gets all the glory but with the elevation of a trail, its easy to get a great aerial perspective on nearby Little Ubehebe Crater.
That little desert scrub has one heck of a view.
You can shoot all day at Death Valley if its overcast like it was the morning I made this at Zabrieski Point.
I love the incredible layers of soft color and texture of Death Valley.

Exactly 2 years ago, I stopped off at Death Valley for some photography on the way to Vegas for CES. This image was from the first night at Bad Water Basin where I did get some color after the sun had set.
